Jennifer Moore, MBA serves as the President of the MaineHealth Accountable Care Organization (MHACO) where she leads MaineHealth’s strategy and performance across value-based payment arrangements serving more than 300,000 Medicare, Medicaid and commercially insured individuals. MHACO brings together 10 acute care hospitals and more than 1,700 employed and independent physicians in advancing high-quality, coordinated, and financially sustainable care.
With more than 30 years of healthcare leadership experience, Jen has deep expertise in value-based care, payer strategy, contract negotiation, population health, financial and risk management, quality improvement and operations. She has played a central role in advancing MaineHealth’s transition from traditional fee-for-service reimbursement toward accountable and value-based models including the Medicare Shared Savings Program and a broad portfolio of commercial and government arrangements.
Jen is nationally recognized for her leadership in accountable care and currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Accountable Care Organizations (NAACOs), representing organizations working to improve healthcare quality, affordability, and outcomes through accountable care. Her work spans both health system and payer perspectives, giving her a distinctive understanding of the clinical, operational, and financial strategies required to succeed in in an evolving healthcare environment.
